***TRAILS CLOSED*** – Dun-Good Riders Trail Update 2/15/23 – We will be closing the Dun-Good Riders Trails to all traffic (snowmobile and ATV/UTV) effective at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. The rain and warm temperatures over the past week have diminished the base and left several bare spots throughout the system. The rain Tuesday night saturated the trail and left standing water in several locations. Although the next two days will be cooler, these standing water and saturated trails will create very icy and unsafe conditions until we can get additional snow. In addition, the untreated town and forest roads are all currently glare ice which will hinder emergency response to areas should we have an incident on the trails in these icy conditions. We hope this is a short-term closure and will be monitoring the trails and roads daily to open them as soon as possible.
