Trail Update 2/17/23 – Dun-Good Trails remain CLOSED to all traffic. The freeze over the last two days post rain has every carbide and other ruts frozen into the workable snow that was in the woods prior to the freeze, what was workable snow is now an ice cube. As long as I am on the bad news side the warm weather forecasted Saturday through Monday will only make things worse and trails will remain Closed and no grooming will be done until we can get some workable snow to make the trails safe again. Now for the bright spot… Early indications are there is a system in the works for Wednesday and Thursday that could bring 6″-10″ according to The Weather Channel, I prefer John Dee (the link is on our website www.dungood.org) and that report is calling for 12″+. Pray for snow, do your snow dance! If the forecasts hold we should be back in business to all traffic by Friday!
