Dungood Riders Trail Report 6/20/24 – The trails are in very good condition heading into the weekend. There is lots of rain in the forecast Friday morning through Saturday evening, the good news is it should be dust free riding however please slow down and ride with caution. With the amount of rain forecasted there will be washouts developing on the trails. Most of our washouts remain passable, however can be dangerous if you hit them at high speed. Some follow up on the County “Roads” opening 24-7/365 this does NOT include the County Forest Roads, only the lettered county highways. The only County Forest Roads that allow ATV/UTV are the areas where they are part of the trail system, they are not Routes. New logging has started south of Kidd Lake Road on Corridor 5 slow down and ride with caution in this area. Reminder the “Ungroomed” trail northwest of Dunbar West of Corridor 5 and South of the Florence County line is closed to all traffic until further notice. The county has a lot of heavy equipment in the area working seven days a week so they have closed all of these trails. Ride Safe, Ride Sober, Stay Right.
