Dun-Good Riders 2025 trail closures for deer season. The Dun-Good trails will remain open during the gun-deer season, however some private landowners will be closing their gates resulting in limited access which I will outline below. Do not attempt to open or go around these closed gates as it could result in permanent closures. If you chose to ride during gun deer season we recommend you wear appropriate clothing so you can be seen if you stop on the trail.
Closure 1 – Closing Monday, November 17, through December 1 on corridor 16 from Parkway Road to Tower Rd. just south of Goodman. To travel from Dunbar to Goodman you will need to travel south on Parkway to the trail at Forest Road 600 turn right and follow the trail to Tower Rd in Goodman. Reverse this route to go from Goodman to Dunbar. Note this route will not be available from November 21 through November 30 due to additional gate closures.
Closure 2 – Closing Friday, November 21 through November 30 corridor 16 from Forest Rd 607 to Parkway Road.
Closure 3 – Friday, November 21 through November 30 Shrine trail north end of Jackpine Rd west to Shrine Rd.
Closures 2 and 3 results in the only access between Goodman and Dunbar is south to Benson Lake Road via Corridor 5 and Parkway Rd Trail. Again, please respect these private land owner closures.
