Dun-Good Trail Report 1/14/26 – Trails are open, 1”-6” base groomed a few areas poor to fair condition, the rest good to excellent. First I want to thank Chris and Darryl for fitting grooming into their schedule today, the three of us were able to groom our entire system today once the temps finally dropped. After the rain, warm temps, sun, hunters in pick ups and others riding the trails there was a lot to clean up out there. The rain left some tough puddles we were able to snow bridge some of the worst of them Sunday and Monday. The warm temps Tuesday left the trails with a crust when the cold air came rushing in last night. We were able to blade through it and plenty of snow underneath to groom up and clean up some trail issues. In the end the crunchy crust left chunks on the trails that will easily break up with use. It is icy in several areas especially any town/forest or other plowed roads and roads that had a lot of sun exposure and some of the low corners. Three inches of fresh snow forecast for Thursday should make for a great weekend of riding. Ride safe, ride right and slow down with the icy conditions.
