Notice: There is a post on one of the ATV/UTV sites claiming that there is a state law that ATV/UTV trails are closed when the fire danger is high to extreme. To clarify, it is a county decision to open or close trails under these conditions. Some counties in Northwest Wisconsin do close under these conditions however Marinette County is open. Not to downplay the serious fire risks, please be responsible with smoking materials etc. under these conditions but our trails and all routes remain open, the county will post on letterhead any changes.
